Airtight was the GI Joe Hostile Enviornment trooper. This figure was made as a commission for a member at the GI Joe messageboard HISSTank.com. This was the first time that I attempted to paint anything major on a figure in yellow, and let me say, if I never have to paint yellow again it will be too soon!!
At one point I was about to have a nervous breakdown, simply because I had so many layers and coats of yellow on this figure, and it still looked like shit. I actually tossed the first version of this guy and started from scratch, because of the paint issue. It was a disaster, but in the end I think it came together pretty nicely overall.

Hands: SW Clone Trooper
Upper Legs: Matt Trakker
Lower Legs: Barbecue
Backpack/hoses/weapon: vintage '85 Airtight
