This figure is one of my favorites of all time. I've always liked Stormtroopers and Clonetroopers. I really like the design of the original Clone Wars ARC Trooper that Hasbro released. However, when compared to today's more modern figures, it just doesn't stand up. Hardly any articulation.

What I did was to take the torso from that older CW figure and adapt it to fit onto the new super articulated Clonetrooper style body. Using the hot glue trick, I was able to attach it and keep the articulation that should accompany the torso. I also kept the upper bicep of the original figure arms, since again the sculpt of the shoulder armor was better (IMO) than the plain Clonetrooper. I cut the arms at the elbow, and attached new super articulated forearms. Also added ball jointed wrists for better poseability.

I attached a neck post, so that I could use a removable helmet for this figure. I also attached the lower body portion of one of the RotS AT-TE Gunner figures, that has the better hip articulation for more posability. Adding a piece of cloth for the kama allows the new leg articulation to function.

I created two custom made weapons for this figure as well. I also went the extra step and created a custom base, complete with Battle Droid parts.

Recipe:
Head/neck: AT-TE Gunner
Torso/upper arms: CW ARC Trooper
Lower torso: Super Articulated RotS Clonetrooper #41
Crotch/legs: AT-TE Gunner
Kama: LEGO canvas
Pauldron/helmet: Alpha comic pack
