The new animated Clone Wars TV series is actually pretty good, and it kind of caught my by surprise. I didn't expect that I would enjoy it quite as much as I have. Not to say that I've enjoyed every minute of it, but most. 99%. When I saw Commander Gree appear in a recent episode, I knew right away that I needed to create a figure for him. Especially the fact that they showed him sans helmet, and he sports a futuristic quasi-double mohawk. Or something like that. This figure turned out pretty good, IMO, and is one of my best - again, IMO. Recipe:
Head: Captain Rex (with Fixit Sculpt added for hair)
Upper torso/removable helmet: Captain Rex (modified helmet to remove antenna, and dremeled out inside for a little more room) Arms: CW Obi Wan Kenobi Hands/legs/feet: CW Clone Trooper Holster: Red Clone Commander Bandolier: random GI Joe figure (can't remember which) |
